Man's world

This Illustration series was for Man's World. They had an article on Ajmal Kasab, the lone survivour amongst the perpetrators of the infamous Mumbai terrorist attack. I chose monochrome to go with the mood.

It was great fun designing this concept cruiser bike. We played around the look of a skeletal beast.

Times of India

These are some of my illustration and graphic work from my tenure at The Times of India, Mumbai. The visuals were meant to summarise and accentuate the readers' experience within a short attention span. Communication had to be direct, yet artistic.

Short Animation Films

Links for animated short films that were done at the National Institute of Design (NID).
Space or Pace was my pre-diploma film. The subject was very close to my heart. I wanted to tell the story to an adult audience, hence, the visual style and script.

Urban living inhibits natural ways of human life and generates stress which sometimes finds release in violence. Road rage is an example of such aggression. This film is an expressionistic 'drive through the mind' of a young girl, who, saturated with pressures around her, reacts violently. Allowed her personal space, she shows humane concerns.

The film Play Safe talks about how the child's imaginative and curious nature often leads him into dangerous situations, even inside the safety of one's house. This was intended to set the stage for an instructional CD-ROM for educating families in the domain of injury control.

A World of Difference speaks of those 'different people' who strive to find their plae in society. It will make the world a better place if they can integrate into the jigsaw of life to form the whole picture.

The film You Can Be talks of modern day pressure of education on children, that does not allow them to dream. The film further shows that one can dare and pursue their dreams. You can be what you want to be.
